“If I were an office supply, I would be a highlighter. Used to draw attention to central points, they’re the ultimate big-picture writing utensil. Pencils are relegated to the detailed realm of science and math, pens to the serious and official world of documents and business transactions. The highlighter is direct and dominates the page. It’s hard to look away, especially when some asshole highlighted your used textbook. People don’t really like minimalism of another person’s creation, but it gets the job done. Ultimately, it works but is somewhat too impulsive.”
